Track 2 "Roam An Empty Space" was built on the original drum tracks and rural drone from an earlier sketch under the working title "Real Gone". The chord progression was inverted from the ranch recording with alternate lyrics that were developed in the subsequent months. Overdubs were added at Ramble Creek in Austin the weeks following SXSW, including the "ghost vocal" track sung through Britton's homemade microphone (comprised of a Brawny paper towel spool and old phone parts).

With a blind devotion on a one way road

Four in the morning
No diverted sting

Led by an unguided wing

Go on a tirade with a destination unknown
Who's gonna man the bridge when they kill your engine

It's inconsequential
You're helpless and restless
In a flawed system traveling down light

A poignant discussion
Further distance apart Danger life surrounding
Only some will survive

Vague perception
Fall into the order
How long can it last...How long can it last
All day till you give up
Void of marrow or sound and the unspeakable stuff

And it's all a game to the end
Falling and calling
Waiting to turn it around

These recordings will be FREE downloads for the time being, but may be released as a collection for purchase in various formats at a later date.
