2010 RECORDINGS
In Fall of 2009, we took a van load of recording equipment out to West Texas and set up in an old hunting cabin on our friend's ranch. The goal was simply to capture the vibe and perhaps find "a way in" to a new album, drawing inspiration from the harsh contrast between rugged rock landscapes, clear open skies, the soothing motion of ominous steel windmills and the eeire silence of old trucks left for dead.
What followed was a new song each month, twelve in all, made available as free downloads to folks on our Email list and Facebook network, with the hope of providing a little insight into our writing/recording process. Some or most of these songs will comprise our forthcoming album, expected to be released sometime in 2011. Here is a sample:
